Lomé (MFA Somalia) – The State Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Ali Mohamed Omar, held on Friday a meeting in Lomé with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and African Integration of the Togolese Republic, H.E. Robert Dussey, and discussed with him ways to strengthen bilateral relations and enhance joint cooperation.
During the discussions, the two ministers reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation, promoting mutual understanding, and advancing closer diplomatic and strategic ties.
The meeting also underscored key issues of mutual concern, including the release of Somali youth detained in Togo, with both sides emphasizing the importance of safeguarding their rights and ensuring their well-being.
