Mogadishu (MFA Somalia)  – State Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Ali Mohamed Omar, today received H.E. Mirko Giulietti, Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation, at the Ministry in Mogadishu.

Discussions focused on strengthening bilateral ties, with emphasis on development, governance, humanitarian support, and resilience. Switzerland remains a key partner in Somalia’s state-building efforts.

Both sides agreed to advance a more structured framework to deepen cooperation, reflecting a shared commitment to peace, stability, and tangible outcomes for the Somali people.
