Addis Ababa (MFA Somalia) – On the sidelines of the African Union’s 49th Executive Council, H.E. Abdisalam Ali, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held bilateral discussions with South Africa’s H.E. Ronald Lamola, Minister of International Relations and Cooperation.

The two ministers discussed advancing cooperation on AU initiatives, regional peace, economic partnership and development. H.E. Ronald Lamola reiterated South Africa’s commitment to supporting Somalia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and both sides committed to deepening bilateral engagement.
