Mogadishu (MFA Somalia) –H.E. Abdisalam Ali, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, today received the credentials of Mr. Christophoros Politis, the new UNDP Resident Representative to Somalia. Following the credential reception, Mr. Politis also met with H.E. Hamza Adan Haadoow, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding establishing a framework for enhanced cooperation in support of Somalia’s development priorities.
The two sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the development partnership and welcomed continued support for Somalia’s institutional development and sustainable growth.
