New York, (MFA Somalia) – H.E. Abdisalam Ali, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, and H.E. Víctor O. Bisonó Haza, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Dominican Republic, today signed an agreement to establish diplomatic relations between the two countries on the sidelines of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly. The two Ministers agreed to strengthen coordination at the between the two nations, a step that advances Somalia’s efforts to expand its partnerships across Latin America and the Caribbean.
