New York, (MFA Somalia) – H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, today attended the opening of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, leading a high-level delegation that includes H.E. Abdisalam Ali, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
Somalia comes to this year’s session as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, ready to contribute and advance its priorities at UNGA81.
