Mogadishu (MFA Somalia) – H.E. Hassan Mohamed Ali, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, today received H.E. Abdelrahman Khalil Effendi, Ambassador of the Republic of the Sudan to the Federal Republic of Somalia.

Their discussions focused on further strengthening the longstanding bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, expanding cooperation across areas of mutual interest, and exchanging views on regional and international developments.

The Deputy Minister reaffirmed Somalia???s commitment to deepening political, economic, and cultural cooperation with Sudan, highlighting the strong historical ties between the two nations.

Ambassador Abdelrahman briefed the Deputy Minister on the latest security developments in Sudan and expressed appreciation for Somalia???s continued support. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to close coordination and enhanced cooperation on issues of mutual interest.
