Mogadishu (MFA Somalia) – The Institute of Diplomatic Studies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation hosted a one-day workshop on Wednesday focusing on planning and strategy development methods, benefiting 40 ministry employees in enhancing their professional skills and understanding of policy implementation. The session was delivered by the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Mr. Hamza Adan Haadoow, who shared insights on strategic planning and organizational efficiency.

The workshop was attended by the Director of the Diplomatic Institute, Mr. Mohamed Mohamud Gure, along with several directors from different ministry departments, highlighting the government’s commitment to strengthening the capacity and expertise of its diplomatic workforce and fostering effective policy execution.

Participants praised the initiative, noting that the training will support better coordination across departments and improve long-term strategic planning, reinforcing the ministry’s efforts to advance national and international diplomatic objectives.
