Mogadishu (MFA Somalia) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, delivered a speech during his official takeover ceremony at the Ministry’s headquarters, outlining his diplomatic vision for Somalia’s future.In his remarks, the Minister reaffirmed his commitment to advancing the country’s foreign relations through strengthened cooperation, the pursuit of a non-aligned foreign policy, and strategic efforts to enhance Somalia’s regional and international standing. He emphasized aligning diplomatic engagement with the country’s foreign policy priorities aimed at achieving long-term prosperity.

The Minister also expressed optimism that Somalia will ultimately overcome terrorism and eliminate the threat it poses to peace and stability.
