FM Ahmed Moallim Fiqi led the Somali delegation today at the opening session of the 162nd Arab League Council at the ministerial level, held at the Arab League Headquarters in #Cairo, Egypt.

The session brought together esteemed Foreign Ministers and heads of delegations from Arab states, including H.E. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the Arab League, to discuss pressing issues affecting the Arab world. Among the top matters were the Palestinian cause, the need for urgent humanitarian aid, and intensified efforts for a ceasefire.

FM Ahmed Moallim Fiqi emphasized Somalia’s strong commitment to international cooperation, working with Arab nations to foster peace and prosperity across the region.
