Mogadishu (MFA Somalia) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, chaired on Thursday a virtual meeting with Somalia’s ambassadors, permanent representatives, and consuls general, aimed at enhancing coordination and strengthening diplomatic engagement.

During the meeting, the Minister instructed the heads of missions to prepare annual work plans aligned with the country’s foreign policy and the National Transformation Plan (NTP). He emphasized the importance of improving collaboration with the ministry’s departments and called for the regular submission of monthly and quarterly reports.
The session also included recommendations to boost Somalia’s representation abroad, advance services to its people, and promote strategic partnerships with host countries.
