Ambassador Ilyas Ali Hassan, Somalia’s ambassador to Tanzania, is commended for fostering strong bilateral ties and advancing mutual understanding between the two nations. His dedication to representing Somalia’s interests abroad has been exemplary. The award was received on his behalf by Abdiqadir Mohamed Yusuf Burgal, Director of the African Department.

Ambassador Abdullahi Mohamed Warfa, Somalia’s ambassador to Ethiopia and the African Union, is honored for his remarkable achievements in international advocacy, enhancing Somalia’s diplomatic stature and advancing its global initiatives. The award was received on his behalf by Mr. Ibraahim Gure Mohamed, Director of Diaspora Affairs.
