The Director of Arab Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Somalia, His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Hassan Mohamed, led a delegation in a fruitful meeting with His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed Methqal, Director of the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation, in Rabat.

The discussions focused on enhancing the longstanding brotherly ties between Somalia and Morocco, with a particular emphasis on cooperation in key areas such as fisheries, livestock, agriculture, mining, education, and scientific research.

The Somali delegation also benefited from Morocco’s extensive experience as a member of the United Nations Security Council, gaining valuable insights into its diplomatic expertise. Additionally, the meeting provided an opportunity to explore Morocco’s achievements in election management and fostering public participation in parliamentary processes.
