Mogadishu (MFA Somalia) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia warmly welcomes H.E. Hasan Mohamed Ali on his appointment as the new Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. With extensive diplomatic experience, including his service across the Arab Department, Archive Department, and most recently as Director of International Organizations.

The Deputy minister holdsa Master’s degree in Social Science, bringing both depth and strategic insight to the role at a time when Somalia is expanding its global engagement, including its tenure on the United Nations Security Council.

H.E. Hasan Mohamed Ali is expected to play a key role in advancing Somalia’s multilateral engagement, strengthening diplomatic coordination, and supporting the Ministry’s strategic priorities. The Ministry looks forward to his leadership and contribution as Somalia continues to elevate its voice and influence on the international stage.
