Belgrade, (MFA Somalia) – H.E. Abdisalam Ali, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, arrived today in Belgrade ahead of H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud , President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, who will lead the Somali delegation to the High-Level Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), held from 1 to 2 September 2026. The Minister was received at Nikola Tesla International Airport by H.E. Nevena Jovanović, State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia.
Somalia’s participation reflects its commitment to international cooperation, peace and stability, and respect for the sovereignty of States, and offers an opportunity to deepen relations with Serbia.
