New York, (MFA Somalia) – H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, met H.H. Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, on the sidelines of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly.
The two leaders discussed deepening Somalia-Kuwait relations and expanding cooperation in areas vital to both peoples. They also exchanged views on regional developments and the security situation in the Middle East.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud highlighted the longstanding ties between the two countries and called for broader cooperation in security, diplomacy and development.
The meeting reflects Somalia’s commitment to strengthening its partnerships across the Gulf and the wider Arab world.
