Mogadishu (MFA Somalia) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia expresses its full solidarity with the brotherly State of Qatar following the incident that occurred at a gas facility in the Ras Laffan Industrial Area.

Somalia extends its sincere condolences and sympathy to the Government and people of Qatar, as well as to the families of the victims, and wishes the injured a swift recovery.
The Federal Republic of Somalia also expresses confidence in the efforts of the competent Qatari authorities to contain the incident, manage its repercussions, and safeguard public safety.
