The Somali Ambassador to Uganda, H.E. Ambassador Fardowso Mohamed Qanyare, officially presented a copy of her credentials today to Hon. Okello Henry Oryem, Uganda’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.

In a meeting held at Uganda’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters, discussions focused on the enduring and robust relationship between Somalia and Uganda, as well as strategies to deepen and expand their bilateral cooperation.

Ambassador Fardowso reaffirmed her dedication to further strengthening the historic partnership between the two nations. She also expressed heartfelt appreciation for Uganda’s steadfast support of Somalia’s Federal Government, highlighting the solidarity and cooperation that have defined their relationship.

The bond between Somalia and Uganda is built on a foundation of mutual respect and shared aspirations, fostering enduring collaboration between their governments and people.
