Kuala Lumpur (MFA Somalia) – A high-level government delegation from the Federal Republic of Somalia, led by the Minister of Education, Culture and Higher Education, H.E. Farah Sheikh Abdulkadir, and accompanied by the State Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Ali Mohamed Omar, arrived in Malaysia to enhance friendly relations and expand cooperation between the two countries.
During their visit, the delegation is scheduled to hold meetings with senior Malaysian government officials to discuss avenues for strengthening bilateral ties across various sectors.
On Monday, June 9, the delegation met with a committee of Somali students based in Kuala Lumpur. The meeting, attended by the Somali Ambassador to Malaysia, H.E. Ali Mohamed Abukar (Wolf), provided an opportunity to engage with the students and acknowledge their academic progress and notable achievements.
