Mogadishu (MFA Somalia) – The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Isaak Mohamud Mursal, received on Wednesday in Mogadishu, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Sebastian Groth, and discussed with him ways to enhance bilateral relations and strengthen cooperation between the two friendly countries.

The Deputy Minister welcomed Germany’s renewed commitment to support the Federal Republic of Somalia, particularly through additional funding for the “Security and Risk Management in Somalia” project. This initiative is in line with the technical cooperation agreements signed between the two governments in 1979 and 2017.
He also expressed deep appreciation to the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany for its continued support and strong partnership.
The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment of both nations to promoting peace, stability, and sustainable development.
