Mogadishu (MFA Somalia) – The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Isaak Mohamud Mursal, welcomed United Nations Under‑Secretary‑General and Executive Secretary of the UN Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), Mr. Claver Gatete, upon his arrival at Aden Abdulle International Airport on Sunday.

Mr. Gatete, accompanied by a delegation from the ECA, is visiting Somalia to hold discussions with senior officials of the Federal Government. The talks will cover economic cooperation, regional development priorities, and current areas of collaboration between Somalia and the United Nations.The visit underscores the continued engagement between Somalia and international institutions in support of national development goals and regional integration efforts.
