Jeddah (MFA Somalia) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Amb. Ahmed Moallim Fiqi Ahmed, arrived in Jeddah on Thursday evening to attend the extraordinary meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, focusing on Israel’s aggression against the Palestinian people, the attempts to displace them from their land, and the need to uphold their rights and dignity.

The ministerial meeting to be held tomorrow Friday March 7 at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Organization in Jeddah will address Israel’s aggression against the Palestinian territories the plans for annexation and the displacement of its people while reaffirming the unified stance in support of their legitimate rights and international efforts to uphold justice.

This meeting reaffirms the rejection of policies of displacement, annexation, aggression, and destruction, sending a clear message to the world that the Palestinian issue remains the central concern of the Islamic nation.
