Mogadishu (MFA Somalia) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, concluded on Wednesday a three-day internal retreat in Mogadishu with directors of the ministry’s departments. The retreat, held from December 22 to 24, brought together senior officials to review departmental performance, strengthen coordination, and discuss priorities related to the ministry’s mandate.
Minister Abdisalam stressed the importance of professionalism, continuous capacity development, and the full utilization of staff skills and knowledge across all departments. He highlighted accountability and strong coordination as essential for enhancing the ministry’s performance and achieving Somalia’s strategic foreign policy objectives at both regional and international levels.
