Doha (MFA Somlia) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, met on Monday in Doha with Pakistan’s Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Amb. Hamid Asghar Khan, on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting of the OIC Contact Group on Somalia, hosted by the brotherly State of Qatar
During their bilateral discussions, both sides explored opportunities to enhance cooperation in areas such as specialized training programs, naval capacity building, direct shipping routes between Karachi and Mogadishu, defense collaboration, medical visa facilitation, and the supply of pharmaceuticals and essential healthcare products.

Minister Abdisalam also accepted an invitation extended by Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, to visit the brotherly Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
