Mogadishu (MFA Somalia) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, received on Wednesday in his office at the Ministry in the capital, Mogadishu, the Chargé d’Affaires of the Norwegian Embassy to the Federal Republic of Somalia, Ms. Merete Dyrud, and discussed with her ways to strengthen bilateral relations and expand areas of joint cooperation.

The meeting highlighted the importance of deepening diplomatic engagement between Somalia and Norway. Both sides emphasized the need to expand collaboration across various fields of common interest, in line with the priorities of the Federal Government of Somalia to promote closer partnerships with development partners.
