Mogadishu (MFA Somalia) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Mr. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, received on Saturday at his office in the Ministry in the capital, Mogadishu, the Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Mr. Pier Mario Daccò Coppi, and discussed with him key aspects of the bilateral relationship between the two friendly countries.

The discussions highlighted the importance of sustaining the longstanding historical ties and deepening collaboration in critical sectors.

The meeting further focused on enhancing joint efforts in development, education, and security, as well as strengthening diplomatic relations. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to advancing shared interests and cooperation to support Somalia’s continued growth and stability.
