Mogadishu (MFA Somalia) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, received a phone call on Tuesday from the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Sudan, H.E. Amb. Hussein Al-Amin.The discussion focused on the strong ties between the two brotherly nations. Minister Abdisalam reaffirmed Somalia’s firm support for Sudan’s security, stability, and territorial integrity, and expressed solidarity with the Sudanese people during the current challenges.

For his part, Amb. Al-Amin thanked Somalia for its supportive stance and acknowledged the Federal Government’s continued efforts to stand with Sudan.

The two sides agreed to strengthen coordination and deepen consultations to serve shared interests and enhance bilateral cooperation.
