Dar es Salaam (MFA Somalia) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Amb. Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, participated on Friday in the preliminary ministerial meeting for the joint EAC-SADC summit on the eastern DR Congo crisis, where a decision was reached and submitted to the summit for further discussion.

As a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, Somalia maintains its firm position in advocating for a diplomatic resolution to differences, aiming for an agreement that de-escalates tensions and addresses the crisis.
