Mogadishu (MFA Somalia) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Amb. Ahmed Moallim Fiqi Ahmed, received on Wednesday in his office at the ministry in Mogadishu the Ambassador of the sisterly State of Qatar to the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Dr. Abdullah Salem Nasser Al-Houli Al-Nuaimi, and discussed with him strengthening bilateral relations and exploring new opportunities for cooperation in various sectors.The meeting touched on strengthening the partnership between Somalia and Qatar, achieving mutual growth and prosperity, emphasizing expanded cooperation in various sectors, harmonizing positions on regional and international issues, and following up on the call between the leaders of the two countries on February 10 to advance common goals.The meeting also addressed regional and international issues of common interest with the aim of unifying positions on key matters.
