Baghdad (MFA Somalia) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, met on Thursday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Republic of Yemen, H.E. Dr. Shaya Mohsin Zindani, on the sidelines of the preparatory meeting for the 34th Ordinary Session of the Council of Arab Foreign Ministers at the Summit Level hosted by the Republic of Iraq.

During the meeting, Minister Abdisalam highlighted the deep-rooted fraternal relations and historical ties between Somalia and Yemen, reaffirming the country’s commitment to strengthening cooperation and advancing joint efforts.For his part, Minister Al-Zindani congratulated his Somali counterpart on his recent appointment and extended best wishes for success, reiterating Yemen’s readiness to deepen bilateral relations and enhance collaboration across multiple sectors.
