Mogadishu (MFA Somalia) – The State Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Ali Mohamed Omar, received the interim Special Representative of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission (SRCC) for Somalia, Mr. Adebayo Kareem, at his office in the Ministry in Mogadishu on Wednesday and discussed with him ways to enhance cooperation, strengthen coordination, advance joint efforts, and reinforce the role of the African Union Support and Stabilization Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM).The meeting also covered the latest political and security developments in the country, with both sides exchanging views on ongoing efforts to promote peace, stability, and institutional resilience through continued collaboration and engagement.
