Ambassador Hodan Osman today presented her credentials as the Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Mr. Li Jinjin, the Deputy Director of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China.

This marks a proud and significant moment in her mission to strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between Somalia and China. Representing Somalia in China is a great honour, and Ambassador Hodan Osman is committed to fostering deeper relations for the benefit of both nations.

This comes amid the Somali-China strategic partnerships recently signed by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and President Xi Jinping. These partnerships focus on collaboration in key areas such as trade, fisheries, infrastructure, and capacity building, further enhancing the historic ties between the two nations.
