Addis Ababa (MFA Somalia) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Abdisalam Ali, held a bilateral meeting today with his Egyptian counterpart on the margins of the African Union meetings in Addis Ababa.

The two sides reaffirmed the strong and longstanding ties between Somalia and the Arab Republic of Egypt and agreed to deepen cooperation in diplomatic coordination, peace and security and trade and investment, while maintaining close engagement through existing diplomatic channels to advance shared priorities for regional stability.
