Somalia and Rwanda Sign Cooperation Agreement to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Kigali (MFA Somalia)- The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, signed on Monday in Kigali a General Cooperation Agreement (GCA) with his counterpart, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Rwanda, H.E. Amb. Olivier Jean Patrick Nduhungirehe.
The agreement aims to deepen bilateral relations and enhance collaboration between Somalia and Rwanda in areas such as diplomacy, trade, investment, and capacity building.

Minister Abdisalam arrived in Kigali on Saturday evening for a two-day official visit, during which both sides discussed ways to expand cooperation and promote mutual development.

Officials from both countries described the agreement as an important step toward strengthening partnership and advancing shared interests that contribute to regional peace, stability, and prosperity.
