Mogadishu (MFA Somalia) – Prime Minister H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre opened a ceremony marking fifteen years of partnership between the Federal Republic of Somalia and the Republic of Türkiye, a relationship that began with Türkiye’s support during the 2011 famine and has grown into one of Somalia’s most consequential and he was joined by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Abdisalam Ali.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, reaffirmed Somalia’s commitment to deepening its partnership with Türkiye, as both sides pledged to advance cooperation into its next phase, guided by fifteen years of solidarity and shared achievement.
