Antalya (MFA Somalia)– The State Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Ali Mohamed Omar, met on Friday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, H.E. Amb. Andrii Sybiha, on the sidelines of the 4th Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF2025), which was officially launched today under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Türkiye, H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye from April 11 to 13.

During the meeting, the two sides signed a protocol formalizing the establishment of diplomatic relations between Somalia and Ukraine, reflecting a shared commitment to deepening engagement and fostering mutual understanding.

The two ministers held constructive discussions on enhancing bilateral cooperation and exploring opportunities for collaboration across various fields for the benefit of both nations.
