Cairo (MFA Somalia) H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud , President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, today held talks in Cairo with Egyptian President H.E. AbdelFattah Elsisi – عبد الفتاح السيسي to deepen Somalia-Egypt cooperation and coordinate on regional stability.

H.E. Abdisalam Ali , Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, accompanied the his excellency the President.

The leaders reaffirmed Somalia’s sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity, and agreed to strengthen cooperation on security, development, and state institution-building. President El-Sisi reiterated Egypt’s respect for Somalia’s territorial integrity and non-interference in Somalia’s internal affairs.
