Addis Ababa (MFA Somalia) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, participated in the Second Italy–Africa Summit hosted by the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. He was joined by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Abdisalam Ali, underscoring Somalia’s unified diplomatic engagement at the highest level.
The Summit focused on strengthening cooperation and deepening economic and strategic relations between Italy and African countries. Discussions covered trade, investment, energy, infrastructure, agriculture, and innovation, areas central to Somalia’s development priorities and its expanding partnerships across Europe and the continent.
