Mogadishu (MFA Somalia) – H.E. Hassan Mohamed Ali , Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, today held talks with Tom Fletcher, United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, during his official visit to Somalia.

The discussions focused on strengthening coordination of humanitarian action, advancing resource mobilisation frameworks, and enhancing international awareness of Somalia’s priorities. Both sides emphasized the importance of aligning partner support with national systems and long-term recovery objectives.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to deepen cooperation and reinforce effective, coordinated delivery in support of Somalia’s stability, resilience, and development trajectory.
