Mogadishu (MFA Somalia) – The Federal Government of Somalia successfully evacuated 148 Somali citizens from Yemen on Tuesday, 9 December, as part of ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of nationals abroad.
The operation, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, aimed to provide immediate assistance and assess the conditions of those returning from conflict-affected areas.
The voluntary repatriation was carried out in partnership with international organizations, underscoring Somalia’s dedication to humanitarian collaboration and the protection of its citizens in emergency situations.
