As part of the celebrations for the 25th anniversary of the East African Community (EAC), Somalia demonstrated its commitment to sustainability through a tree-planting initiative at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation headquarters in Mogadishu.

The Permanent Secretary, His Excellency Hamza Adan Haadoow , together with the Director of EAC Economic Integration at the Ministry Ahmed Warsame & The Director of Diaspora Affairs led government officials in this meaningful activity, symbolizing growth, unity, and a shared responsibility to protect the environment for future generations.

This initiative reflects Somalia’s dedication to regional cooperation and aligns with the East African Community’s values of promoting sustainable development across its member states.
