The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Amb. Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, accompanied by the Permanent Secretary, Hamza Haadow, recently held a high-level meeting with Arvin Boollel, the Minister of Agro-Industry, Food Security, Blue Economy, and Fisheries of Mauritania, during the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP) conference.
Minister Boole attended the conference on behalf of his foreign minister.
The discussions were centered on advancing and strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations. Key areas of focus included the promotion of sustainable agricultural practices, ensuring food security, and harnessing the potential of the blue economy to drive economic growth.
