His Excellency Ambassador Yonis Hashi , Director of Europe and Americas at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, hosted a productive meeting with His Excellency Ambassador Mirko Guilietti of Switzerland at the Ministry’s headquarters. Ambassador Hashi expressed his sincere gratitude for Switzerland’s growing engagement in Somalia and its unwavering support for the nation’s development journey.

The discussions focused on Somalia’s progress in rebuilding institutions, fostering economic growth, and enhancing public services. Both sides underscored the importance of Somalia’s active regional and global partnerships, including its collaboration with the African Union, IGAD, and the East African Community, in advancing peace and stability.
